Does you website appears correctly in every browser?
Filed under: Internet, Review, Tips One ResponseWhether you are a web designer or just an owner of a web presence, you would surely want to make sure your website or blog works flawlessly in every browser out there. One way would be to install every browser and each of their versions currently used in your computer and tests the website on them all. This is a really hard and boring work, believe me.
The easier way to get the job done would be use Browsershots.org. It is a free online service which allows testing your website or blog on a very large number of web browsers and versions. The easiest thing is you just need to submit the URL of your website and it shows the snapshot of the website as it appears on the browser.
I only tested Tech Bold a number of browsers which are mostly used. It would be foolish to make sure your website appear correctly on every browser out there.
You can zoom in to a full page (top to bottom of page) to see the details and see if your website appears right or not? However, there are some limitations. You can only have a limited number of screenshots for your website (~300+) per day per IP address, and ~60+ shots per website per day only.
However, these limitations can be lifted up if you sign up for their service and/or if you are ready to pay for an extended period of processing.
