Filed under: Software, Windows XP No Responses

Everyone knows that Vista Transformation Pack makes Windows XP looks like Windows Vista and also adds some functionality. But do you really need Vista Transformation Pack to get all the bells and whistles? The following is a list of software (freeware) which you can use to make your XP desktop look like Windows Vista without banging your head with the Installation notes.

And you don’t have to worry about being unable to uninstall the Transformation Pack.

  1. LClock - LClock is a very simple program that makes the Windows’ clock look like a Windows Longhorn Clock.
  2. LClock WMP11 Skin (Is not really vista-ish, but is still nice)
  3. VistaMizer (Is in german, but you should be able to get around it, next and download etc.)
  4. VistaVG RTM theme
  5. XP Vista pack by oddbasket (Actually, these things may be included in VistaMizer so you may not need this)
  6. QT Address Bar
  7. Thoosje’s Sidebar
  8. Transbar
  9. WinFlip 3D (Flip3D for XP [and maybe vista basic])
  10. Vista Games for XP and Vista Game Explorer for XP
  11. Dreamscene (XP)Alky for Applications aka VAIO (Let’s your on vista programs on XP)
